Craft
Description-
The topic of this lesson was craft. To begin the craft I traced the feathers on a white sheet of paper. Next, I wrote things that I am thankful for on each feather. Then I put shaving creme on a pan and put paint on top. Then I put the paper on top of the shaving cream. I pressed lightly on the back of the paper to transfer the paint. I took the paper off and scraped the extra shaving creme off. I set it to the side to let it dry. Next, I drew the face onto my toilet paper roll. When the paper dried I cut out the leaves and stapled them onto the back of the roll.
Extension Activity-
An extension activity for this project could be having my students write about what they are thankful for and explain why. That way the students can work on their writing skills to go with the Thanksgiving holiday.
